Our article on the synthesis of hydroxyapatite plate-like particles has been accepted by Ceramics International. In this study, ultra-thin hydroxyapatite plates (10-20 nm) were synthesized by chemical precipitation, which then used the preliminary studies on producing hierarchical coatings. This is an outcome of the international collaboration, and we thank our co-authors, Eng. Behlül Şen (Alumni), Şule Özgenç (Alumni), Prof. Ana Beltran (Spain), and Prof. Aldo R. Boccaccini (Germany) for their substantial effort.
