Contributing to our group for a year, BSc students Emre Çatal and Mert Çetin successfully presented their thesis studies titled "Production and Characterization of Silicon Nitride Based Ceramic Composites for Biomedical Applications". In their thesis, by coating the surface of silicon nitride nanoparticles with a special ceramic composition, our students conducted studies on providing bioactivity to silicon nitride-based bulk materials produced and reducing the sintering temperature of these materials.
We wish them success in their future careers.
